Nationwide bank savings charging inactivity fees of $5 a month

Just got a letter from Nationwide on an account I opened a year ago. Stated that I had 2 weeks to make a deposit or tranfer into the account or start paying $5 a month dormancy fees on the account.
I do not recall this being disclosed when I signed up a year ago. (Could have been, I don’t have that saved — yeah, flame me if I actually did agree to this.)
With these banks dropping savings rates to near nothing, and then charging a fee for not putting more money in over time takes a lot of gall as they use the money that is there and give me nothing as well.
I think I will just move it out and close it instead. Just glad I actually opened up this piece of presumably spam snail-mail.
